Program. This shipping report does not reflect the transfers of funds
in support of international Tools & Blankets
Program projects and purchases.
International Shipments
Armenia
- 4,020 woolen blankets to United Methodist Committee on Relief for on-going program use.
Belarus
- 1,000 lightweight blankets and 300 woolen blankets for orphanages and hospitals supported through partner Global Assistance Program.
Bolivia
- 10,500 lightweight blankets to Iglesia Evangelica Metodista en Bolivia for on-going program use.
Burkina Faso
- 5,650 lightweight blankets to the Association Representant La Fondation des Eglises de Plein Evangile a Sokoraba for on-going program use.
Cuba
- 5,000 lightweight blankets to Iglesia Bando Evangelico Gedeon for on-going program use.
Dominican Republic
- 8,300 lightweight blankets, 4 pallets plastic 5-gallon jugs, and 13 cases of canned chicken to partner agency Servicio Social de Iglesia Dominicana for on-going program use.
Ethiopia
- 1,000 lightweight blankets and 300 woolen blankets for orphanages and hospitals supported through partner Global Assistance Program.
Ghana
- 2,500 lightweight blankets and 144 plastic 5-gallon jugs to partner agency Concerned Christian Community of Ghana for on-going program use.
Kenya
- 1,000 lightweight blankets and 300 woolen blankets to orphanages and hospitals supported through partner Global Assistance Program.
Liberia
- 5,000 lightweight blankets for Church Aid Liberia to support efforts of partner Concerned Christian Community.
Mexico
- 1,000 lightweight blankets to Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer for distribution to persons affected by flooding in Tabasco.
Pakistan
- 20 medical boxes from partner Interchurch Medical Assistance to Church World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan.
Zimbabwe
- 1,000 lightweight blankets and 300 woolen blankets to Celebration Centre in Harare for orphanages and hospitals supported through partner Global Assistance Program.

California
- 300 woolen blankets to Community Christian Service Agency in San Diego for distribution to area homeless.
- 80 lightweight blankets to First Presbyterian Church for distribution to homeless in Orange.
- 30 woolen blankets to First Presbyterian Church of Redlands for distribution to area homeless.
- 20 lightweight blankets to Upland Christian Church for distribution to homeless at the TOUCH camp in Ontario.
Colorado
- 200 lightweight blankets and 90 woolen blankets to La Puente Home, Inc. for distribution to migrant and homeless families in Alamosa area.
- 150 woolen blankets and 100 lightweight blankets to Outreach United Resource Center, Inc. for distribution to homeless in Longmont area.
Florida
- 1000 lightweight blankets to Catholic Charities in Orlando for distribution to persons affected by tornados.
Iowa
- 30 woolen blankets to Youth Emergency Services and Shelter in Des Moines for distribution to children and youth.
Kansas
- 167 cartons (2,004 pieces) of antibacterial hand & face wipes and 67 cases (2,010 pieces) of particulate respirators to Community Access in Independence for flooding victims.
- 50 lightweight blankets and 30 woolen blankets to Life Giving Center of Extreme Hope Church for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged families in the Great Bend area.
Michigan
- 300 lightweight blankets to Ecumenical Theological Seminary for distribution to homeless in Detroit area.
- 120 woolen blankets and 100 lightweight blankets to Charitable Union in Battle Creek for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged in the area.
- 100 lightweight blankets and 90 woolen blankets to Neighbor to Neighbor Community Service Center for distribution to economically disadvantaged families in the Berrien Springs area.
Minnesota
- 390 woolen blankets to Listening House of St. Paul for homeless and economically disadvantaged.
- 100 lightweight blankets to Twin Ports Action Coalition for distribution to homeless in Duluth area.
- 60 woolen blankets to the Minnesota Council of Churches in Minneapolis for distribution to refugees arriving in the area.
Missouri
- 1,500 woolen blankets to the Salvation Army in Kansas City.
Montana
- 150 baby blankets to Fort Peck Tribe in Poplar for distribution to elderly and families within the tribe.
New Jersey
- 210 woolen blankets to the Presbyterian Church of Bound Brook for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged persons affected by area flooding.
- 60 woolen blankets to Chesterfield Baptist Church for distribution to homeless in Philadelphia.
- 30 woolen blankets to First Presbyterian Church in Vineland for distribution to homeless in the area.
New Mexico
- 150 woolen blankets to Taos County Housing Authority for distribution to homeless families.
New York
- 240 woolen blankets to Chenango Fenton Project Concern for homeless and economically disadvantaged individuals and families in the Binghamton area.
Ohio
- 150 woolen blankets to Faith Mission/Lutheran Social Services in Columbus for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged families in the area.
- 30 woolen blankets for distribution to refugee arrivals coming through the CWS Immigration and Refugee Program Office in Columbus.
Oklahoma
- 1,020 woolen blankets for distribution from the Expo Center in McAlester for people affected by early 2007 winter storms.
Pennsylvania
- 210 woolen blankets and 100 lightweight blankets to Outreach Coordination Center/Project HOME for distribution to homeless in Philadelphia.
- 150 baby blankets and 50 lightweight blankets to Inter-Faith Housing Alliance in Ambler for use in their shelter as well as for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged families once they leave the shelter.
- 120 woolen blankets to the CWS Immigration and Refugee Program office in Lancaster for distribution to refugees arriving in the area.
- 90 woolen blankets to Zion Lutheran Church for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged families in Manheim.
South Dakota
- 120 woolen blankets and 100 lightweight blankets to Re-Member in Pine Ridge for distribution to individuals and families.
Texas
- 900 woolen blankets to First United Methodist Church in Brownsville for distribution to economically disadvantaged in Brownsville, McAllen, and other border communities.
- 510 woolen blankets to the Salvation Army in Austin for people affected by early 2007 winter storms.
- 300 woolen blankets to Central Presbyterian Church in Austin in response to winter storms.
- 200 lightweight blankets to La Trinidad Methodist Church in Eagle Pass in response to a tornado.
- 200 lightweight blankets to Front Step, Inc. in Austin for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged families in the area.
- 200 lightweight blankets to Timon's Ministries in Corpus Christi for distribution to homeless and economically disadvantaged in the area.
Virginia
- 90 woolen blankets to Dranesville Church of the Brethren for distribution to homeless persons in Washington, DC.
Washington
- 510 woolen blankets to Operation Nightwatch in Seattle for distribution to area homeless.
- 300 woolen blankets to First Presbyterian Church of Seattle for distribution to area homeless.
- 120 woolen blankets to Trinity Community Church for distribution to homeless in South King County.
West Virginia
- 210 woolen blankets for distribution by Appalachian Outreach, Inc. in Glen Dale.
