One Walker’s “Steps”

Suzanne Dysard of Boulder, Colorado, is the nation's number one online CROP Hunger Walker. She raised $6,880 last year, $4,805 of it online. And it was so easy!

She set up her own Walker page at www.cropwalkonline.org and invited friends from around the world via e-mail to support her. "And e-mails are easy for people to forward. My mom forwarded my e-mail to people in her office. As a result I had a whole group of people in New Jersey supporting me AND getting matching donations!"

She's a tireless promoter of CROP Hunger Walks. “I carry a CROP Walk sign when I travel. My car is easy to spot around town – it's the one with the CROP Walk bumper sticker on it.” Suzanne hopes others will join her in getting the word out online, “The more people know about the Walk, the more will participate, and the more we can do to eliminate hunger!”
